 Welcome to So Fitness Auckland City. At So Fitness, we focus on Functional Lifestyle Pilates. 

What is Functional Lifestyle Pilates? 

The ‘Functional’ portion involves teaching and incorporating Pilates exercises that train and sculpt part of the bodies that are involved in our daily activities. We believe that any exercises we do should help facilitate the things we do daily. Hence, Functional Pilates. The ‘Lifestyle’ dictates our belief that everyone should be doing Pilates. We don’t believe that Pilates is superior to other kinds of workouts, but we know that Pilates targets the small stabilizer muscles in our bodies to hold us up and gives us that deep internal strength. It creates the foundation for all kinds of workouts and sports that you would do. 


Terms & Conditions

By signing up to The SO Academy Mentorship Programme, the customer agrees to be bound by our Terms & Conditions. 

We reserve the right to change, update or reissue these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any such changes will be posted on our website and the customer agrees to be bound by such changes. 

References to “we”, “us” and/or “our” in these Terms and Conditions is a reference to SO Fitness Limited.

1.This contract is between the member ("client") and So Fitness Limited (“So Fitness").
2. Term: Minimal 1 month, Maximum 1 year.  A Minimum Obligation Agreement means an agreement that has a minimum term commitment to maintain payments, post this minimum term the agreement will continue for 1 year period until terminated by the customer or So Fitness. The minimum obligation for the annual term is 6 months.
3. Payment of Fees. The client must pay all fees and charges including GST as applicable, for the term of their membership. Payment can be monthly or annually. Interest may be charged on all overdue fees and amounts at the rate of 5% per month.
4. Weekly payment will be taken within 24 hours of the chosen date. If no funds are in place the account will be charged with a $15 dishonour fee (that is paid to the merchant provider).
5. (Monthly Term ONLY) Rollover classes. Classes unused will be available for an additional 7 days following their current membership week. Following this 14-day period these classes are abandoned (no exemptions).

6.(6 months/Annual Term Only). A set number of classes, depending on Mentorship Tier will be allocated at the beginning of each 6 month mentorship term at ease for the client’s use throughout the annual term.
6. 12 hour cancellation policy as per usual for any cancellations made within 12 hours prior to the class, or any no shows.
7. Changes in Membership Fees. Outside of any minimum term obligation agreed to by the customer, So Fitness may adjust membership fees at any time giving 21 days’ notice.
8. Holding of membership. (Monthly Term Only) Clients are entitled to apply to put their class allocations on hold for a maximum of 1 month over a 6 month period depending on mentorship tier*. A customer may apply to freeze their membership, giving 7 days’ notice, due to medical, travel or personal reasons. Clients will not have access to any bookings or facilities that form part of the Agreement while the freeze is in place.
9. Termination/Changes. If the client wishes to terminate their agreement or change their membership type, they must give 2 weeks’ notice. (Annual Term Only) Annual mentorship holders will be able to terminate every 6 months period.
11. Overdue payments. If a balance is outstanding for more than 4 weeks, SO Fitness may notify any credit reporting or referencing agency of the default, and may pass the client’s debt for collection to a third party agency.

12. Upgrade of membership during the contract duration would require a new contract agreement of 6 months duration. No package downgrades are available.

13. It is your responsibility to ensure the card details provided are valid, active and linked to an account with sufficient funds. If there are any changes to your card details, including but limited to card expiration, loss, theft or cancellation, you must notify So Fitness immediately through email before your next auto payment date. Failure to update your card details within a reasonable time frame may result in a disruption to your membership and a fee may be charged to cover the administrative cost.

*Tier 1 (1 x up to 2 weeks hold every 6 months duration), Tier 2 (1 x up to 4 weeks hold every 6 months duration)
